Tibetan wild alpine flowers make Gongba unique.

There are 2000 types of flowers in Tibet, that survived the struggle against the climate, rough weather, and altitude... and that "will to survive" is the reason Gongba tops the "gold standard" of honey's Baume at 44, scientifically proven to have more nutrients than the "best" in the market. 

Some notable Tibetan medicinal floral include: 

Codonopsis pilosula 

Tibetans use the native species codonopsis to treat bronchitis, asthma, cough, tuberculosis, dyspepsia, and psychoneurosis. Phytochemical research shows it contains poly acetylenes, phenyl propanoids, alkaloids, triterpenoid, and polysaccharides, which contribute to multiple bioactivities for medicine.

Rhodiola Rheum 

A high-altitude plant used as a calming agent for the body, prevent bleeding, and as a tonic in traditional Tibetan medicine 

Tibetan Saussurea 

The Tibetan snow lotus adapted to harsh climates in high altitude and takes 10 months to blossom. It is used to treat intestinal inflammation and ulcers.

Tibetan Aconitum

The Tibetan wolf's bane is used to treat fevers, coldness, colds with congestion, and heavy headaches. 

Angelica glauca

Helps with indigestion, anemia, dermatitis, and to clear the body of toxins.

Lilium

Moisturizing of the lungs, relieving cough from lung dryness and clear heartburns.

Polygonum

Valued Tibetan flower, used as a tonic for liver and kidney. They are also believed to have an anti-aging effect... recent studies found anti-aging, lowers cholesterol, anti-cancer, and anti-inflammatory properties. 

Fritillaria 

One of the most famous Tibetan medicine. Highly effective in curing all types of cough, enlarged thyroid, and sore throat.

These are not common flowers available to bees in the usual environment, these are all alpine versions and are much more nutrients packed... we did mention that Gongba tops the chart when it comes to concentration, even if we were to compare to the best of the best.
